During the maintenance we will be upgrading route-server 2 to a new machine. The new machine has been prepared in advance and will be put into production at the specified date and time.

The new machine will help to improve route-convergence time with the increasing number of peers and routes available on the ERA-IX route-servers.

No action is required to be taken by the members, during the maintenance route-server 1 will remain operational.

After the maintenance has been concluded and the new hardware has been proven reliable, we will also schedule maintenance for rs1.era-ix.net to be upgraded as well.
