During the maintenance we will be upgrading route-server 2 to a new machine. The new machine has been prepared in advance and will be put into production at the specified date and time.

The new machine will help to improve route-convergence time with the increasing number of peers and routes available on the ERA-IX route-servers.

No action is required to be taken by the members, during the maintenance route-server 1 will remain operational.

Our hosting infrastructure was getting flooded with peering LAN unknown unicast packets, at a rate high enough to saturate our cluster uplinks. These packets where originated from a member having an incident, this traffic was directed to our BUM capture server.

We've implemented a fix to prevent this from taking down our infra structure in the future. Our team would like to remind that there was no impact on the ERA-IX platform.

We're planning maintenance on our Direct Peering product. This will gracefully impact all Direct Peering customers for about 30 minutes.
